Whether you are preparing to take the Private Pilot Written exam or just want to supplement your training, this course will provide you with the knowledge to not only pass the exam, but actually understand the material as well. During class, you will be learning with fellow pilots who fly in the same airspace, and sometimes the same airport and flight school as you, making the experience even more valuable.
We offer the Private Pilot Ground School 3 times a year, so be sure to reach out and secure your spot as classes are limited to 10 learners.
Whether you are a pilot who frequently brings along family or friends, or you are a person who regularly flies with a pilot in a small plane, this program will take you inside the pilot's world and teach you not only what is going on during a flight (from planning through the actual flight and arrival at destination), but also how you can help your pilot as well.
Our classroom also has the Redbird FMX Simulator so we can actually put what you learn to use during class. Need extra time or want to practice more...just ask, we can arrange a package to meet your needs.
Getting your Instrument Rating is a smart step towards being a proficient pilot, and of course, a requirement if you wish to fly professionally for an Airline or Charter company. There is a lot to know, from regulations and weather to procedures and maneuvers, and yes, of course, a written exam. The Instrument Written Ground School will prepare you to pass your Instrument Written Exam and ready you for the challenges, excitement, and added security the Instrument Rating provides.
Struggling with Navigation? Just don't get the Theory of Lift? What's this about "High to Low, Look out Below? We are continually adding to our library of courses we offer to help you understand that one subject you just can't wrap your head around. As an instructor, I can safely say that the only bad question is the one not asked, and believe me, if you have a question, there are others around you (and not around you) that have that same question. The nice thing about this program is we have both the classroom and AV equipment to present the material, as well as a Redbird FMX should we need to dive deeper into a subject.
